The adverts can be very varied in design, and can be used in many different locations for instance on walls, billboards and in magazines. It really depends on what the advert is about and the costs for the music artist themselves.
Music Magazine Ads
Music mag ads can be found almost everywhere in magazines and newspapers, with the ads varying in size and in location within magazines. Many different magazines has adverts, the most prominent being in music magazines such as NME, Q, Metal Hammer. Though adverts has popped up in other general magazines such as Lads mag "Nuts" and culture mags such as Flipside. Lastly it is known for music ads to appear in Newspapers though this is usually reserved only for the most well known bands which have the money to advertise.
